Hi all! Today I bring you this uber glamorous outfit post--the most elegant yet on the blog, appropriately posted on Oscar's night. Lol. I wore this to my friend's beautiful wedding at the Mandarin Oriental in Brickell yesterday. It was such a fun night with an abundance of incredible food, a fun live band, and even a rave afterparty! Definitely the most memorable wedding I've been to yet. And did I mention the food? Never had I eaten so much at a wedding. Good thing this dress fit me perfectly-- it wasn't tight anywhere at all and made me feel like a million bucks.

Row 1: Soludos Striped Espadrille Sandals // Soludos x Lemlem Espadrille Sandals // Soludos x Lemlem Espadrille Sandals
Row 2: Soludos Tall Wedge Espadrilles // Soludos Platform Leather Smoking Slippers // Phyllis Wedge Sandal
Row 3: Soludos Espadrille Sandals // Aquazzura Belgravia Pom Pom Flat Espadrilles // Free People Marina Lace Up Espadrilles
So today's (late) Shoesday Tuesday is brought to you by Shopbop. I was invited to partner with them and was so thrilled because as you likely know they are a huge fashion retailer carrying just about every brand under the sun. I had already been linking to them via the ShopStyle affiliate link program, but now you will see me highlight specific products in more detail a few times a month. For more info on my use of affiliate links, see my disclosure on the sidebar.
So back to these lovely beauties-- I love espadrilles (like when I posted about them in 2014 here) but don't have nearly enough of them! Full disclosure: the blue ones I linked here are very much out of my comfort zone in terms of price and beyond what I can afford right now, but I needed one more shoe for the collage and honestly that was my favorite of them all. They're so vivid and fun. I also love the many Soludos ones-- so simple yet they make a statement. I think I may get the second ones because they will look great with just about anything I throw on in the spring and summer, particularly with yellow or bright orange, or black and white of course.
Very excited for spring. We actually had a few cold fronts this winter that I was very happy about but I am ready for spring fashion and beach weather again.
Thanks for stopping by!
Shoesday Tuesday: Fun Heels
Tuesday, February 9, 2016
I love a good heel. My mom saw me create this collection and she thought they were mostly all hideous, with the exception of the beige ones. I disagree, Mami, ok? These heels are LOUD (except the beige) and I like them that way. They are statement heels, perfect for dressing up a pair of jeans and simple top for a fun night out. So many tassels, too. I couldn't help myself. They've been having a moment for quite some time now and I'm nowhere near over it.
Do you like bold and funky heels, or do you like to keep it classic? I say both. ;)

January Recap
Monday, February 1, 2016
Well, I'm off to a good start in 2016 here! I met my 6 outfit per month goal-- a goal I've had since 2013 but so often miss since blogging is merely a hobby for me. I don't say that casually, though. This style blog is my creative outlet and very much a part of my self-care. Some therapists do yoga, some do art. This is my art. :)
And here are my favorite shots shared on Instagram. The chocolate con churros shot no podia faltar. Every January during one of our "strong" little cold fronts, I make sure to have some of that pure deliciousness-- that little piece of Spain-- from La Palma cafe on 8th st. and 60th ave.
I'm so glad I got to blog to my fullest potential (as restricted by crazy my job) this January!
Thanks for reading!
