Hello readers,
I took something of a social media break last week but I'm back now with this sporty "athleisure" outfit. I don't follow any sports but I sure like borrowing from their aesthetics. 😉
I wore this to the annual county fair two weeks ago, except with gray boat shoes because I didn't want to ruin these precious Keds x Kate Spades. Also, my hair was up because I didn't want it getting in the way of all the delicious fair food I had to eat. My Fitbit tracked 10,758 steps while I wore it that day, which included my day at work plus all the walking at the fair. At 5,000 steps my phone notified me I had earned the "Boat Shoes" badge, and then at 10,000 steps I got the "Sneakers" badge. I felt so accomplished and proud of myself-- never mind that my caloric intake was likely double what it's supposed to be. My Fitbit was oblivious to that, because I did not tell it.
I haven't used my Fitbit to its full capacity yet, and I haven't even taken it while biking because I kept forgetting. But so far I really like it and I've been building a habit of wearing it daily. Got it on sale at Target in February. Isn't the color cute? I haven't seen the turquoise color anywhere else but Target.
And I'm off to bed now! Gonna schedule this post for tomorrow but right now it's nearly 1 am and I'm trying to stick to a healthy sleep schedule. Didn't do a very good job today but hey, it's Saturday. Um, Sunday. 🙈
