A Fall Wedding

My boyfriend's grandma's sister's grandson (gotta love extended families!) got married on Saturday to his girlfriend of 12 years, on their 12-year anniversary! Isn't that the cutest thing ever? They met in middle school, eventually started dating, and the rest is history. The wedding was at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, the beautiful church pictured below, in Miami Beach. The reception was at the Grove Isle Hotel and Spa in Coconut Grove.

The priest gave tips on how to stay faithful to your spouse (e.g., don't give out your number to co-workers you're attracted to), on how to raise your kids the non-Pagan way (I swear, he said kids grow up to be Pagan these days), and right before "You may kiss the bride" talked about the wonders of Facebook. Unconventional, to say the least, but pretty entertaining.

The wedding colors were violet and burgundy
Hydrangeas are some of my favorite flowers!
Each table was named after a place the couple visited together

Since it was raining before the wedding started and it was nighttime when it ended, I couldn't get the greatest photos of my outfit. Still, here are the best of the night.

Before leaving to the wedding
My outfit cost me a whopping $10 (the heels), because it's composed of gifted and borrowed items!

Dress: Grass Collections (Macy's; gift from two Christmases ago)
Heels: Forever 21 ('09)
Clutch: borrowed from my Mom
Necklace: Swarovski (Boyfriend's anniversary gift from 2 years ago)
Bracelet: The Limited (gift from last Christmas)

Hope you liked my super frugal outfit!
