Rolled up Jeans

I'm only 5'1". And as a 5'1" gal, I'm weary of all those "tips" about how to not look 5'1". This happens to girls and women of all body shapes and sizes. Always the message is to look thin and tall.

One of these "rules" for petites is not to wear capris or cropped pants. But I like the rolled up jean look, so here I am wearing the rolled up jean look.

Nature's Finest Necklace from ModCloth-- a delicate little piece that adds a touch of whimsy to casual wear. I got it for $5.99 on Black Friday! It's now regular price ($12.99) but still worth it if you ask me. Get it here:

My booties were another great Black Friday find, but from last year. Super comfy and great color.

  1. I have the same issue with height, but you look great in those jeans, they really don't make you look 5'1

  2. To me the priority isn't to look as long and lean as possible, but rather to make sure proportions are flattering regardless of height. If you wanna wear rolled jeans / capris, go for it (as you have)! Your outfit looks cute, funky, and you look very happy so that's what matters most.

    1. Hear, hear! Yes, watching proportions makes way more sense than staying away from something altogether just because the item "isn't flattering" on your body. Otherwise who gets to wear these things-- models only?

  8. I love the attitude you have towards fashion. For a long time I was told I can't wear yellow because I'm Asian. But you know what? It's my favorite color. So I'm wearing it. :)

And that necklace is adorable. Love Modcloth.

    Merry Christmas!

  13. After trying very many writing services and freelance writers, I came to their essay writing service very skeptical. I'm very keen on details and I'm happy to say that https://grademiners.com/ service has proven to be very keen as well. Updates have been provided frequently as per requirement, and the final submission is very well done. I've already recommended them to my two college-going sisters.
