Hello all.
Feels weird to post these happy looking pictures since it's a been such a somber few days for us... Just wanted to take this moment to acknowledge the tragedy that unfolded on Sunday.

These photos are from my spring shoot with Gen. I meant to post them before leaving on my trip or even during but it didn't happen. I took this dress on the cruise and turned a few heads with it, not gonna lie. It's a beautiful blend of feminine and sexy.

Well, today is my birthday.

Not that excited about it. It's complicated.
But you know what I am excited about? That Mediterranean cruise I'll be embarking on this Wednesday! Can't wait.

But anyway, you're not here for my birthday plans or feelings. You're here for this cute chambray jumpsuit with wide-leg flair (see what I did there?). It's Maison Jules from Macy's. Bought it last year in the transition from summer to fall, one of my favorite times to shop because of all the markdowns. Can't remember what I paid for it but I remember it was on sale and it was love at first sight. I had to get it massively hemmed, of course, because I'm a shorty.

Also, this was one of my outfits from my spring shoot with Gen. I love shooting with her! She's so fun to talk to and really knows what she's doing. See my previous shoots with her here and more of her work here.

Sunday Morning Dreams

She wore an itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini dress.... And some sunflowers, and a hat, and red sunglasses! Just throw it all in there. In my mind this is what I'd wear to go flower shopping on a lovely Sunday morning, possibly somewhere in California or New York. I've never been to either of those places, but it just feels right. There's an artsy, boho, hipster-ish flair to this look that I so love, much like what I imagine those places to be.

Fancy Thanksgiving

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving!

I feel like I walked straight out of an Anthro catalog here, in this beautiful Anthro dress and gorgeous textured wall. Lol. This was the first outfit I shot with Gen in this fall photo shoot of ours. The dress just screams "fall" at me, and it's totally something I'd wear to a fancy Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving dinner, if I had that kind of lifestyle. Someday I shall. I shall plan fancy get-togethers and make everyone dress up or else. Bet that will make me real popular. Lol.
