Minimalist Weekend Outfit

DSC_0619

This look is so 90s minimalist grunge to me (except for the lipstick-- way too bright for the 90s). The whole thing takes me back to my rainbow choker-wearking days-- it was 1998 and I was 8 years old, but I was a dark soul. I wore dark blue nail polish and wanted to dress like Debbie from The Wild Thornberrys someday (hands down, best 90s cartoon show ever!).

Nah, I was a happy kid. But I did love the grunge style that's so in with the kids these days. I still do, to some extent. This outfit came together in a very lazy way. Not sure if you can tell, but I was sotired. I just rolled out of bed and put on the laziest thing I could find that was uber basic and required no effort. Then I put some red lipstick on to distract from my week-long unbrushed hair. My adorbs little globe necklace from Brighton with my Rocksbox earrings paired perfectly together and popped against the red lips. In the end, the outfit was interesting enough to me to warrant a proper blog post.
