Matchy-Matchy with the Alhambra Water Tower

casual summer travel outfit
Coral Gables water tower

Growing up I was always fascinated by this lighthouse-looking structure in the middle of Coral Gables. The Alhambra Water Tower is one of the city's prettiest landmarks, if you ask me. It was built to surround the actual water tower that was part of the water supply system for the city until 1931 (visit here for more info). I had been wanting to take pictures here forever because look at these beautiful colors!

So when I put together this weekend errand-running outfit I realized that I matched the tower. I think of this kind of stuff all the time. Lol. The tower is on the way to Target which is where I was going so I thought it the perfect opportunity to take some quick outfit pictures. The remote control I bought doesn't work, so I had to go back and forth from my tripod in the scorching 95 degree weather. You'd never know it but I had sweat dripping down my face and back and pretty much everywhere and it was very unpleasant. But I finally got my Alhambra Water Tower outfit pictures, and it was all worth it. :)
